→ India Likely to Receive Below-Average Rainfall in September
New Delhi, August 31, 2026: India is likely to receive below-average monsoon rainfall in September, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Rainfall in August was 16% below normal, raising concerns about agriculture and economic growth.
The IMD has forecast September rainfall at less than 91% of the long-term average. Below-normal rainfall could affect summer crops such as cotton, soybean, corn and pulses, which are currently in important stages of growth.
Less rainfall may also reduce soil moisture needed for winter crops such as wheat and rapeseed. The weather department has also said that temperatures may remain above normal in September because of the shortage of rain.
Officials have linked the weak rainfall partly to the El Niño weather pattern, which can cause drier conditions in parts of Asia. India depends heavily on the monsoon because it provides about 70% of the country's annual rainfall and is important for agriculture and water resources.

> One evening, Aki was walking home from college when she noticed a strange blue light falling from the sky. She followed it and found a small glowing crystal near an old tree.
The moment she touched it, everything around her became silent. A mysterious voice whispered, “The Universe is losing its balance. You are the last one who can save it.”
Aki was shocked. She thought it was only a dream. But the crystal showed her images of countless stars slowly disappearing.
Suddenly, a small boy appeared beside her. He said, “You don't need to be a hero. You only need to remember one thing—the Universe survives because people choose to protect what they love.”
Aki held the crystal tightly. She understood that courage was not about having special powers. It was about taking the first step even when you were afraid.
The crystal began to shine brightly. One by one, the disappearing stars returned to the sky.
When Aki opened her eyes, she was standing under the same old tree. The crystal was gone, but one new star was shining brighter than all the others.
She smiled and whispered, “Maybe the Universe was never looking for a hero. It was looking for someone who cared.”

> एक शाम, अकी कॉलेज से घर जा रही थी। तभी उसने आकाश से गिरती हुई एक अजीब नीली रोशनी देखी। वह उस रोशनी के पीछे गई और उसे एक पुराने पेड़ के पास एक छोटा-सा चमकता हुआ क्रिस्टल मिला।
जैसे ही उसने उसे छुआ, उसके आसपास सब कुछ शांत हो गया। एक रहस्यमयी आवाज़ ने कहा, “ब्रह्मांड का संतुलन बिगड़ रहा है। अब केवल तुम ही इसे बचा सकती हो।”
अकी हैरान रह गई। उसे लगा कि यह केवल एक सपना है। लेकिन उस क्रिस्टल में उसे अनगिनत तारे धीरे-धीरे गायब होते हुए दिखाई दिए।
